The 8C 2900 B was based on
the 8C 2900 A sports racing cars and were built as "Corto" (short
wheelbase), "Lungo" (long wheelbase) and "Le Mans" version.
10 cars of the Lungo-version
were built between 1937 and 1939. Buyers could choose between a Pinin Farina
convertible or a Touring closed Coupe version.
In 1939 when the 6
cylinder engines growed till 2.443 cc, the models were designated as the
6C 2500 range.
